Westgate Manor is a 104-bed long-term and assisted living healthcare center located in beautiful Bangor, Maine. We are fully licensed for Medicare and Medicaid coverage and we specialize in caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

Our staff of veteran caregivers strives to create a warm and caring atmosphere where all departments work side by side with residents’ families to provide quality care.

Our center is dedicated to the care of people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Our Alzheimer’s care is designed to celebrate the spirit of our residents. We strive to offer a comfortable and compassionate environment that emphasizes positive life experiences and active involvement in a daily routine. The staff who care for our Alzheimer’s residents are focused on meeting their special needs. We encourage family to remain integrally involved in the lives of their loved ones and offer ongoing support through individual care plan conferences and support group meetings.
We are pleased that we had a deficiency free annual survey in 2010. It’s an honor to have a deficiency free survey and we thank the staff for their hard work and dedication. Westgate Manor is a 2009 recipient of the American Health Care Association Step II Quality Award.
